Martin is the son of Anita and Hans, a very long established wine family based in the Neusiedlersee wine region of Austria. They master in local grape varieties such as Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt and they use biodynamic and organic approach to their wine growing. The Manila is a #skinfermented #grunerveltliner The grapes were destemmed and without being crushed, fermented in tank for 13 days. After fermentation the grapes were pressed and aged in three small barrels for 10 months. The wine was bottled without filtration or any added sulphur. The colour is an intense yellow, the aromas characteristic are of ripe apples, pineapple and citrus. Quite yeasty character at the finish.
