Brought this bottle of Libiamo “Field Blend” 2017 from my recent trip to #newzealand, after I discovered directly from the producer @jamesmillton who is an #artisanwinegrower, who in 1984, together with his wife Annie planted the very first #biodynamic #wineestate in the #southernhemisphere. The Milltons are endlessly committed to improvement, and without question should be credited as being one of the most important catalysts for change in the New Zealand wine industry. This Libiamo is a blend of #marsanne #muscatgrapes and #viognier. Bright yellow colour, the nose has aromas of apple cider, topical aromas of pineapple and floral notes of blossom. The palate is full of citrus and stone fruits and tropical flavours. Dry, fragrant and savoury.
